If you want to keep freshwater fish, you will need a medium-sized tank that has a minimum depth of 10 inches (25cm). If you want to keep saltwater fish, you will need a large-size tank with a depth of at least 30 inches (75cm).

8. Substrate Mixer – The last part of your fish tank setup is the substrate mixer. This will help mix up the substrate you use in the tank, which will make it look more natural. You can also use this to help add fertilizer to your tank.
